In its second year, DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup once again brings rowing, music, gastronomy and Istanbul's waterfront life together on the Golden Horn.
Races held in the Club, Coastal and Corporate categories combine with Tersane Istanbul's open spaces, food and beverage stops and music programme, offering a special weekend experience spread over three days for racers, spectators and everyone who wants to join the rhythm of the city.
Istanbul's New Regatta Tradition
Located on the historic shore of the Golden Horn, Tersane Istanbul brings its unique maritime heritage together with sport, life and the city experience today.
Inspired by this strong bond, DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup returns to the Golden Horn in its second year to create a new regatta tradition in Istanbul. Bringing the discipline and competitive spirit of rowing together with Tersane Istanbul's coastal atmosphere, open spaces, restaurants and social life, the event invites spectators as much as racers to be part of this experience.
Taking place between 11–13 September 2026, the races focus on performance, endurance and team spirit on the Golden Horn for three days, turning into a new weekend ritual completed with music and city life later in the day.
A Three-Day Rowing Cup Experience

Warm-Up
The DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup weekend will start with the warm-up programme taking place at Tersane Istanbul on Friday, 11 September.
Admission to the music and meet-up programme that will carry the atmosphere of the race weekend to the city will be free. Details of the day will be announced at a later date.

Races
Races in the Club, Coastal and Corporate categories will take place on the Golden Horn on 12 and 13 September. The race programme will be completed with music and entertainment content throughout the day.
Concerts
Bergüzar Korel Brings “Hatırladıkça” to the Golden Horn for the First Time
On Saturday, 12 September, following the day's races at DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup 2026, Bergüzar Korel will take the stage at Tersane Istanbul with “Hatırladıkça”.
Previously presented at Zorlu PSM and ENKA Open-Air Theatre, “Hatırladıkça” will now be performed on the shores of the Golden Horn for the first time, in a special concert created for the DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup weekend.
Taking place from 11–13 September, DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup brings rowing teams from Türkiye and around the world together on the historic waters of the Golden Horn, combining three days of racing with music and experiences across Tersane Istanbul.
“Hatırladıkça” is more than a concert built around a familiar repertoire. Known for her instinct for storytelling throughout her acting career, Bergüzar Korel brings the same sensibility to the stage, turning music into another form of narrative. Songs that have accompanied our childhood, youth and different chapters of our lives are reimagined through Korel's voice, interpretation and distinctive storytelling.
Where familiar melodies meet memory, “Hatırladıkça” promises to become one of the most memorable evenings of the Rowing Cup weekend, set against the unique atmosphere of the Golden Horn.

Pink Martini in Türkiye for the First Time with the "All Stars" Concept
On Sunday, September 13, following the final races, the award ceremony and a special Rowing Cup closing performance by Pink Martini All Stars will take place.
Pink Martini All Stars makes its Türkiye debut at the grand finale of the DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup.
From 11–13 September, the DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup will bring together rowing teams from Türkiye and around the world on the historic waters of the Golden Horn. Following three days of racing, the awards ceremony on Sunday, 13 September will give way to a spectacular closing concert.
Bringing together musicians and vocalists who have performed with Pink Martini throughout the years, the Pink Martini All Stars concept will take the stage in Türkiye for the very first time at Tersane Istanbul. Created especially for the DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup, the performance will also feature surprise appearances by acclaimed Turkish artists.
Be part of a grand finale where the energy of rowing meets the rhythm of music, unfolding across the shores of the Golden Horn.

Event Rules
- The event will take place at Tersane Istanbul from September 11 to 13.
- Admission on September 11 is free of charge; no ticket purchase is required.
- Ticket purchase is required for September 12–13.
- Event tickets can be scanned once per day on September 12 and 13. A wristband system will be in place at the entry. Guests wearing their wristbands are allowed to enter and exit the event area throughout the day.
- The event features a General Admission and open-flow layout. Tickets are unreserved; there are no assigned, personalized, or reserved seating areas.
- Concerts will be standing-only with general admission. There is no seating arrangement or seat selection in the concert area.
- Attendees can enjoy food and beverage vendors as well as brand experience zones within the ticketed area. Food and beverage purchases are not included in the ticket price.
- Security checks will be conducted at the entrance; items deemed inappropriate by the security team will not be allowed inside.
- Outside food and beverages, sharp or pointed objects, and flammable or explosive substances are strictly prohibited.
- Attendees aged 7 and above require a ticket.
- The event program is subject to change based on weather conditions and operational requirements.
- The event will take place rain or shine; attendees are advised to take personal precautions in case of rain.
- The organizer reserves the right to make changes to ticket prices and the event schedule.
- Please keep your ticket and wristband safe throughout the event; lost tickets or wristbands will not be replaced.
- Professional photo and video recording is prohibited without prior approval from the organizer.
- The organizer reserves the right to restrict entry to the event area whenever deemed necessary.

DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup 2026 will take place in three different categories — Coastal, Club and Corporate — on the historic route of the Golden Horn.
Coastal
Bringing the open-water spirit together with the unique atmosphere of the Golden Horn, the Coastal category offers a dynamic racing experience highlighting endurance, technical skill, quick decision-making and team coordination.
Club
The Club category, where local and international rowing clubs come together with a focus on performance, discipline and competition, carries the sporting excitement of the Rowing Cup to the historic route of the Golden Horn.
Corporate
Designed for company teams, the Corporate category brings team spirit, motivation and the feeling of achieving together into the regatta atmosphere.
The grand prize of the 2026 races and the prize structure by category will be announced in the first week of August.
Join the Race
Bringing together more than 50 teams on the Golden Horn in 2025, DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup returns in its second year with a wider race programme.
Last year, RV Hollandia from the Netherlands won the main race, Real Club Mediterraneo from Spain came second and Arab Contractors from Egypt came third. In the Corporate category, the Turkcell Rowing Team took first place.

Regatta Style on the Golden Horn
The Riviera Chic dress code tradition that started with DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup 2025 continues on the Golden Horn this year.
Inspired by the effortless elegance of Mediterranean shores and classic regatta style, Riviera Chic brings together linen shirts, polo collars, light blazers, flowing dresses, espadrilles, loafers, straw textures and marine details.
Highlighting white, ecru, navy and light blue tones, this style is less a strict dress code and more a relaxed yet polished invitation accompanying the excitement of the race.
Regatta Weekend at Tersane Istanbul
DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup is a weekend experience lived not only on the race course but across the whole of Tersane Istanbul.
The races taking place on the Golden Horn between 11–13 September will be completed with a special regatta atmosphere spreading to Tersane Istanbul's open spaces, restaurants, shops, hotels and social life spots.
Even before entering the ticketed race area, visitors will be able to be part of this world across Tersane Istanbul; with food and beverage stops, waterfront walks, regatta-inspired shop windows, family experiences and live broadcast points, they can live the weekend as a new waterfront ritual within the city.
In the ticketed area, the excitement of the race will combine with DJ performances, live music, brand experiences, photo spots, food and beverage points and a festival atmosphere continuing throughout the day.
The Kids Lounge, created in cooperation with Nickelodeon Play! and The Land of Legends for families with children, will turn the regatta weekend into an enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages.

The Story That Began on the Golden Horn Last Year
DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup took place for the first time on the historic shore of the Golden Horn on 6–7 September 2025.
Local and international rowing clubs, company teams, athletes and spectators witnessed the first step of a new regatta tradition in Istanbul, hosted by Tersane Istanbul.
The first edition, where the excitement of racing met the Golden Horn scenery and team spirit met Tersane Istanbul's social life; with its Riviera Chic dress code, coastal atmosphere and all-day experiences, it was not just a sports event but a special weekend that brought a new ritual to the city's waterfront culture.
As the weekend was completed with the special concert Fazıl Say gave with the Haliç Orchestra, DenizBank Tersane Istanbul Rowing Cup delivered a powerful experience in its first year, bringing sport, music and city life together on the same stage.
